Cup magnets are made from strong ceramic magnet C8 Grade, This handy and useful ceramic cup magnet is embedded inside a Nickel coated steel cup to offer the maximum gripping power. The steel cup offers protection for magnet and make the magnetic force concentrated on the magnet surface.

Ceramic cup magnets are widely used in industrial applications such as fastening, holding, hanging or retrieving objects, etc.

Ceramic magnetic material is made of a composite of iron oxide and barium/strontium carbonate.

The material is one of the most cost effective magnetic materials maunfactured in industry. The low cost is due to the cheap, abundant, and nonstrategic raw material lend themselves to large production runs. This magnetic material has a fair to good resistance to corrosion and it can operate in moderate heat.

Hard sintered ferrite magnet, made by molding powder mixture of about 80% Fe2O3 and about 20% either BaCo3 or SrO3, is also called ceramic magnet. Along with deepening of research, some additives such as cobalt (Co) and lanthanum (La) are mixed together to improve the magnetic performance. The molded powder metallic green is sintered inside a temperature controlled furnace what is heated with electricity or coal. Though hard ferrite magnet is with low magnetic property, it is still a preferable choice to engineer in their design due to several factors: abundantly available raw material,the cheapest cost among permanent magnet family, low density, excellent stability of chemistry, high maximum working temperature and Curie temperature.
